Matthew Parker’s Decoder #2012-1

Were you wondering what all those numbers meant at the end of the January 2012 mystery in Clubhouse magazine? Well, wonder no longer. Take the time to break another code! Here’s the code again:

How It Works:
To break this code, you’ve just got to read the time. Match the time on the chart below with the letter that covers that time frame. For instance, if the time is 9:42, the letter is “T” since that time falls between 9:30 and 9:59. Then you’re set!

Coolness!
Timekeeping devices have been around for as nearly as long as time itself. People have used sundials, water clocks, timesticks, hourglasses, candle clocks, oil lamps, pendulums, clocks with gears and much more to keep track of time. Wonders like Stonehenge are considered some of the world’s earliest clocks. They likely helped people tell the time for major events such as seasons. The study of timekeeping is called horology.
