Did you need Mom’s help to crack the code in the May issue? Here it is again:

How It Works

Ignore the colors and focus on the shapes. This code uses a basic letter-to-number substitution. However, the alphabet is split into two groups, with vowels (A, E, I, O, U and Y) in circles and consonants (everything else) in squares.

Here is the key:

For a really confusing version of the code, split the alphabet a different way. For example, instead of vowels, the circles could contain the letters of your first name. (Your friends will probably need a few clues to read these codes.)

Once you’ve mastered the double cipher code, crack this extra message.
