Can’t solve the September code? Take five, and come back later.

Here it is again:

How It Works

This is a simple sequence code. Start at the fifth letter (A), then go by fives, starting over when you reach the end of the line. Do not skip letters at any point. Once you go through the code five times, you’ll reveal the secret message.

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.” —2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (ESV)

Coolness!

We don’t often give our noses enough credit. The sense of smell is called “olfaction,” and studies have shown that smell is one of the first responses our brain has when we walk into a room—even though we think we rely on our eyes or ears first.

God created our noses to be super sensitive. In blindfolded tests, mothers can even identify their own children from others by smell. The nose just knows!

Smell is also the primary sense you have that affects the way you feel, the way you act and your memory. With new breakthroughs in smell, retailers have started using scents to market their products to the public. The military even uses scents to disperse unruly crowds.
