Matthew Parker’s Decoder #2016-05

Did you get a kick out of May’s code? Here it is again:

Matthew's Decoder -- May '16

How It Works

To crack the code, simply find which letter appears most frequently on each ball. Then read the letters from left to right.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”—Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)

Coolness!

Today, soccer is the most popular sport with more than 3.5 billion fans. Kids all over the world love soccer. In fact, even before Jesus walked the earth, children enjoyed competing with their feet. The earliest records of a game like soccer come from China, about 200 B.C.!

With so many soccer players, you need a lot of soccer balls. Half of the soccer balls in the world are manufactured in one city: Sialkot, Pakistan. The most popular modern soccer ball design has 32 panels—20 are hexagons and 12 are pentagons. Some people believe these panels were originally created to represent 32 countries in Europe. Isn’t that a kick?!
