How It Works
To crack this code, first count the petals on each flower. Then read the number in the center. Match the flower to one of the letters below (the arrangement of the petals does not matter).

This code is based on the Fibonacci sequence. Each number in this famous set is the sum of the two previous numbers: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13…
Using basic substitution (A = 1, B = 2 . . . Z = 26), drop the letters into the series. Since the first number in the sequence is 0, no letters are used. The second number is 1, so drop in the first letter (A). The sixth number is 5, so that set contains five letters (H-L).

The petals show you which column to read, while the flower number gives you the row.

Often recognized as a symbol of love, there are more than 100 species of roses. In addition to looking great in gardens, roses also have a beautiful scent in their petals which is often used in perfumes. And if that’s not enough to make you like roses, you might be surprised to learn that roses also produce a fruit called the “rose hip” that is rich in vitamin C and is used in jams and teas. A rose’s oil is even used in some makeup products.
Anyway you look at it, everything comes up rosy for this flower!
