Dr. Anthony Levatino is a Board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who recently retired after 40 years in the medical field. He is also a former lawyer and a former associate professor of OB/GYN at Albany Medical Center, where, additionally, he served as the Medical Student Director and Residency Program Director. In the early years of his career, Dr. Levatino performed nearly 1,200 abortions as a routine part of his practice, but his views on abortion began to change after a tragic accident killed his 5-year-old daughter, Heather. Today, he is a staunch and vocal pro-life advocate who has testified before Congress several times about the brutal nature of abortion. His wife, Cecelia, is a former nurse who has been actively involved in state politics. The couple has one grown child and one grandchild.
