Chris is the Director and Co-founder of Project Belong VA where she inspires, recruits, and resources churches and families to engage with the needs of the 5500+ children in the Virginia foster care system and the 140 million children around the world needing a forever home. Chris and her husband Scott are Arlington County foster parents. Prior to working with Project Belong VA, Chris spent seven years as the Missions Director at McLean Presbyterian Church. ​Chris enjoys pursuing adventure with her husband Scott, their three grown children and her trusty (and a little bit spoiled) golden retriever Knox. Chris’ husband, Scott, is the Pastor of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Arlington, which they planted in 2008.
