Stephanie C. Holmes

Dr. Stephanie C. Holmes holds a doctorate in education. Her dissertation was on best practices for the inclusion of students with autism. She is a national speaker, author and podcaster on the topic of autism, neurodiverse Christian couples and special needs advocacy. She believes that the church house and the schoolhouse should be the most inclusive places for people with differences and disabilities and that counselors and ministers should be educated on autism, as autism is the fastest-growing developmental issue in the USA.

Dr. Holmes has a B.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Christian Counseling, M.A. Certification in Communication and several certifications in the area of her autism specialty. She became an ordained minister in 2009, and she and her husband, Dan, also an ordained minister and life coach, now share a ministry directed toward families and marriages with special needs.

Her most significant credential comes from being the mother of two young women who both have various special needs and differences.  She wants couples and families that are neurodiverse to remember that there is no exclusion clause in Jeremiah 29:11 — there is hope for a future!
