King Nebuchadnezzar began this scene confident and defiant in opposition to God. However, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego’s courageous, faithful, and steadfast obedience to God provided witness to God’s incredible and mighty power. As a result, King Nebuchadnezzar’s soul and worldview were impacted by God’s miraculous provision and trustworthy care for these young men. God is good all the time and is more powerful than any person, king, or god.
