Daniel 4, Psalm 39, Proverbs 28

This is the last thing we read about Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel. As king of a great empire, he is tempted by his pride to think that he is greater than God himself. But this time, when God brings him out of his sickness, he writes a wonderful psalm of praise to the one true God. In it, he recognizes that God’s “kingdom endures from generation to generation” (4:34). We do not know for sure, but it would be wonderful to think that Nebuchadnezzar died believing in the one true
